At the heart of this project is a well known and regarded heritage building that sits at the heart of Newcastle CBD. Constrained on all sides the concept looks to give this deteriorating building a new lease of life. Integrating two levels of retail at the base reflecting the various road levels and then incorporating five new residential levels above.

Two of the levels are within the heritage framework of the current building while there are three new levels above. A high degree of sensitivity in the design to provide a commercial result while still acknowledging the importance of the heritage building.

On completion, there will be 35 new one and two bed apartments providing a unique residential offer in the heart of Newcastle.

Lindfield Village

The suburb of Lindfield in Sydney Australia is conveniently located on the main north south train line. Working with one of Australia’s leading retailers, Woolworths, BN have masterplanned an integrated development in an area currently occupied by a commuter car park. The new development will see increased car parking for locals and commuters, additional quality retail, cafes and restaurant offers in a village atmosphere along with community facilities including a new Library covered by a new public park.

Mixed-use high density residential and retail development in an iconic location. A visual marker within the town and the local authority were looking for a high quality dynamic built forum which they were happy to approve.
