Opening November 2026, this mixed-use development completes the missing link along Exhibition Street, creating a cohesive retail precinct with the existing centre opposite. The project brings together a full-line supermarket with an integrated e-store, specialty retail, food and beverage offerings, and office spaces in a contemporary, functional layout.

The design features a two-storey eastern frontage with retail and dining at ground level and offices above, while the central high-volume form accommodates the supermarket and e-commerce operations. Materials such as brick, limestone-look cladding, timber accents, and glazing provide a modern yet welcoming character.

The development includes dedicated click-and-collect facilities, efficient loading zones, generous car and bicycle parking, and landscaped forecourts to enhance amenity and connectivity. This project delivers a practical, future-ready retail hub that strengthens the street edge and completes the precinct.

Gregory Hills Town Centre

As part of a larger masterplan for the area, stage 1 of Gregory Hills Town Centre has opened featuring a state of the art Woolworths Supermarket, BWS and Medical Centre as well as a range of specialty tenancies, and a 450-space car park.

Distinguishing itself from more traditional centres, the design of the development provides a level of animation and playfulness in its form, with strong angular lines mixed with splashes of colour, and natural finishes. The interiors have been developed with the same dynamic approach with raked ceilings with timber offset battens and lit with natural light through the clerestory windows which run the length of the centre.

Already an award winner, the Gregory Hills Town Centre development has created a dynamic new hub and heart for the suburb and with Stage 2 already approved, will look to add more choice and convenience for its community.

Woolworths Kirrawee Shopping Centre is a contemporary neighbourhood retail development delivering approximately 4,500 square metres of convenience-focused retail space, designed to support the daily needs of the local community.

Anchored by a full-line Woolworths supermarket with an integrated online pick-up facility, the centre also includes a Dan Murphy’s liquor store and a curated mix of specialty retailers. The layout prioritises clear circulation, visibility, and ease of access, creating a seamless shopping experience for customers across all tenancies.

The project was delivered on a highly constrained and challenging site, characterised by a significant slope, with access available only from a single frontage. Neighbouring properties on both sides and a main rail corridor to the rear further limited design flexibility, requiring innovative planning solutions to optimise functionality and connectivity. These constraints informed a carefully considered approach to site planning, ensuring operational efficiency while maintaining strong street presence and legible entries.

Approximately 250 on-site car parking spaces are thoughtfully integrated into the design to support efficient access despite the topographical challenges. BN Group worked closely with stakeholders to deliver a commercially robust retail environment that balances complex site conditions with a welcoming, contemporary architectural expression.

BN was engaged to develop a Masterplan and DA submission for stage one of a new Town Centre at the Heart of Googong township.

Googong is approximately 7kms south of Queanbeyan a developing award-winning suburban that started some 10 years. The new town centre looks to reinforce the social aspirations of both client and community and provide a successful commercial outcome for all parties. Town centre will consist of convenience retail anchored by a full line supermarket, service retail, cafes and restaurants, tavern, service pad sites for fuel, fast food and large format uses along with associated community facilities with a focus on public space and a village character.

The design integrates heritage buildings, dining areas and outdoor play areas with quality streetscaping, pergolas and landscaping. Initially leveraged off existing food operators, the dining precinct delivers a critical mass of food offerings and a focal point for the local community.

The Calderwood Valley Village Centre looks beyond the site to the surrounding topography as inspiration for the built form as it reflects the undulation of the imposing backdrop of the surrounding escarpment.

The hero is the central ‘leaf’ roof over the central village plaza and announces the entry to the centre from the north. This is conceived to be a very active zone surrounded by food and beverage operations and engages with the adjacent Tavern and active public open space.

The specialty retail fronting the ‘main street’ sleeves the Supermarket form. An internal mall connects the primary public space through the centre and the at grade car park.

Located at a key node on entry to the suburb of Calderwood the Calderwood Valley Village Centre will consist of a full line Supermarket, Medical Centre, Childcare, Learn to Swim, and supporting speciality shops.

In addition, as part of the overall development and in a separate building will be a childcare centre for 80 children, a learn to swim facility and a gym providing additional community facilities to the heart of Chisholm.

This $84 million investment by Vicinity transformed Warriewood Square to reflect the Northern Beaches lifestyle and casual affluence of its loyal customer base. Fundamentally, the redevelopment allows the centre to maintain its reputation as a convenient, customer focussed retail environment. Along with a refurbishment of the existing centre, the expansion extends the retail offer and includes a new multi-level car park. The expanded centre comprises some 30,000sqm of retail floor space including new mini majors, an Aldi supermarket, an upgraded Woolworths supermarket and a new fashion & lifestyle precinct.
